This sunscreen is oil-free, fragrance-free, and non-comedogenic, making it perfect for those with sensitive skin, like me and probably many others! It also contains antioxidants that help to protect the skin from environmental damage.

For those who prefer a natural option, I would recommend Badger Balm. Badger Balm’s Unscented Sunscreen is made with organic, non-GMO ingredients and provides broad-spectrum protection. It is also water-resistant for up to 80 minutes and is reef-safe, meaning it is safe for marine life.

It was quite a search to find a sunscreen that wasn't sticky and that I wasn't allergic to aha.. I tried out for example a sunscreen from Nivea which isn't specifically for your face, but it stings quite badly in your eyes when swimming or sweating.. so the Neutrogena sunscreen was a pleasant discovery!!

Jafra Skincare: Dierproefvrije huidverzorging en makeup!

Jezelf even wat extra verwennen mag en moet! Dit doet mij altijd denken aan de quote 'Selfcare isn't selfish' en dat is zeker waar. Nu het toch wat lastiger is om naar een schoonheidsspecialiste te gaan betekent dat niet de jouw huid niet de juiste verzorging kan krijgen. Het tegendeel! Met de juiste producten kan jij een at home spa creeeren. Lees gauw verder als je nog opzoek bent naar een fijne huidverzoringsproducten! 

Samantha is de oprichter van High End Cosmetics 4 U. Dit is een leuke en super handige webshop waar ze naast huidverzorgingsproducten met leuke kortingen, ook gratis workshops aanbiedt vanwege haar achtergrond als skincare consulente! Je kan door haar bijvoorbeeld advies krijgen of een bepaald product goed bij jouw huid past. 

Ik heb een paar testers mogen ontvangen om kennis te maken met een aantal producten van Jafra. Ik had nog nooit van het merk gehoord, dus ik was erg nieuwsgierig om het uit te proberen aha! Goed om te weten is dat Jafra alleen dierproefvrije producten verkoopt. De producten worden namelijk getest door toxicologen die de samenstelling goedkeuren en daarna worden de producten op mensen getest om extreme allergische reacties en irraties te voorkomen en verminderen. Jafra heeft zowel huidverzorgingsproducten voor mannen en vrouwen; van makeup tot huidverzorgingsproducten, tot body cremes en meer. 

JAFRA SPA 

Naast huidverzoringsproducten vind ik iets lekkers voor onder de douche en voor daarna altijd super fijn! Ik geniet er echt van om soms even wat luxers te gebruiken in plaasts van de standaard douchegels. Ik heb de Ginger and Seaweed bath and showe gel van Jafra uitgeprobeerd en het rook echt super lekker! Mijn huid werd er ook lekker zacht van wat ik niet vaak heb bij douchegels. Dus dat is zeker een pluspunt. Daarna had ik de bijbehorende body cream opgedaan wat ook erg fijn aanvoelde en niet plakte maar gelijk in mijn huid absorbeerde. Kortom, zeker een aanrader om eens uit te proberen! 

JAFRA GEZICHTSMASKERS & HAIR EN BODY 

Maskers vind ik ook altijd iets om jezelf even extra te verwennen. Met name in deze corona tijden is dat zeker iets wat je wat vaker mag doen voor jezelf! Er zijn heel veel verschillende soorten maskers, dus het is goed om eerst even te kijken wat voor huidtype je hebt en of je het nodig hebt of niet. Soms kunnen er ook te veel werkzame stoffen in zitten die je huid eigenlijk niet nodig heeft en soms juist te weinig. Als je het niet zeker weet kan je altijd een huidspecialist om advies vragen. Ik denk dat ik van alle testers de mud mask het fijnste vond. Het was een lekker dik masker en het voelde fijn en verkoelend aan. Ik was in het begin even bang dat mijn huid er niet goed op zou reageren door mijn rosacea, maar dat was gelukkig niet het geval. Mijn huid voelde daarna erg zacht aan en daarna deed ik alleen van dagcreme op en voilà. Ook de body scrub was lekker om te gebruiken en het het haarmasker ook! Mijn haar voelde echt lekker zacht aan en rook lekker, dus zeker een aanrader!

Philosophy | Amazing Grace

I would say there are two perfumes that I would buy again and again; Marc Jacobs Daisy and Amazing Grace from Philosophy. Both are unique in their own ways and completely different. I love trying out new perfumes and especially in these times, taking care of yourself a bit more than you usually would is definitely not a luxury! If you're looking for a new perfume that is not too present but still nice and subtle, than get comfy and read further now for a full review about Philosophy's Amazing Grace!

Philosophy is a brand that is known to be very minimalistic, with their rectangular and robust designs. The cap is in silver and the bottle itself has a baby pink sticker with a short text. And something that the brand is known for, is for it's texts on the package. Those are usually a bit longer than on the bottle themselves. I love the things they write, because it's really true and makes your perfume feel a bit more special! Keeping it simple is with this brand exactly the right thing to do. It works!

The scent is perfect for everyday, to feel extra feminine and it just adds that bit of extra spark, with soft blossoms, a mix of roses, jasmine blossom, bergamot, tangerine and green nuts. When you spray the scent it smells really good! Mostly it's a fresh perfume with a floral smell! I love that it's a soft perfume and great to wear for every occasion and not to overwhelming. It's a scent I got complimented on a lot when wearing it. I noticed the scent will stay for about half a day and after that it slowly starts to fade, which after that you can reapply if of course. 

INGREDIENTS

I also got the amazing grace shower gel which smells really nice too! It's a shower gel and shampoo in one and makes your hair feel really soft and shiny. The brand also has a few other perfumes, such as the ballet rose and magnolia. I haven't tried them yet so I don't know exactly what the differences are compared to the amazing grace collection. But will definitely try them out sometime!

Dr. Jart+ Dermask Water Jet Soothing Hydra Solution Review

In deze tijd mag je jezelf wel even extra verwennen! Dat kan je natuurlijke het beste doen met een at home spa day. Net als de Little black dress een must is voor in je kledingkast zijn maskers onmisbaar om je huid lekker te verzorgen en verwennen. Er zijn zoveel verschillende soorten maskers dat het soms best lastig kan zijn om een goede keuze te maken. Ik heb het Dr. Jart+ Dermask Water Jet Soothing Hydra Solution masker mogen uitproberen en daar zal ik nu wat meer over vertellen en mijn mening over geven. Dus ga er lekker voor zitten en lees gauw verder! 

MASUKA MASK

Misschien heb je er nog niet van gehoord, maar dit in een Nederlandse webshop die heel veel verschillende soorten gezichtsmaskers verkopen! Alle maskers komen uit Zuid-Korea en omdat door het grote aanbod zit er altijd wel eentje bij die geschikt is voor jouw type huid. Zo verkopen ze onder andere Dr. Jart+ en Sulwhasoo. 

WAT VOOR TYPE MASKER IS HET? 

Het Dr. Jart+ masker is een cellulose sheet masker voor de gevoelige huid. Het helpt tegen irritaties en het kalmeert en hydrateert je huid. Het masker bevat belangrijke voedingsstoffen die jouw huid net dat beetje extra geeft. Het masker beschermt je huid tegen uitdroging en huidschilfering, wat met name fijn is in de herfst en winter. Vaak is de lucht dan net wat kouder en droger waardoor je huid extra bescherming en verzorging kan gebruiken en ook nodig heeft. Door de natuurlijke ontstekingsremmende ingrediënten geeft het jouw huid een boost! Verder is het goed om te weten dat er geen sulfaten, ftalaten, parabenen etc. aan toegevoegd zijn. 

HOE GEBRUIK JE HET MASKER 

Het is eigenlijk heel eenvoudig, maar wel goed om even te lezen hoe lang en hoe je het masker op met brengen. 

STAP 1: reinig eerst je gezicht voordat je het masker aanbrengt. Hierdoor wordt het masker makkelijker en beter in je huid opgenomen en zie je een beter resultaat. 

STAP 2: daarna breng je het masker aan op je gezicht totdat het egaal is verdeeld. Je mag het laten zitten voor ongeveer 15 a 20 minuten. In de tussentijd kun je dus lekker even languit op de bank liggen met warme choco en je favo serie 😉 

STAP 3: na alle het harde werk kan je het masker eraf halen haha! 

Wat vind ik nu eigenlijk van het masker? Ik ben er erg tevreden over!! Ik was even bang omdat ik best wel erg last heb van rosacea dat het verergerd, maar dat was helemaal niet het geval. Het voelde erg verfrissend op mijn huid en het masker was ook ondanks dat het er dun uitziet best dik. In de winter kan je huid altijd wel wat extra verzorging gebruiken en dit masker is zeker een aanrader. Met name nu we zoveel thuiszitten! Ik vond het ook erg fijn dat ik daarna niet het gevoel had nog een voedende crème te hoeven gebruiken, maar vrij lang nog zonder kon. Als je op zoek bent naar een verfrissen, hydraterend en verzachtend masker dan is deze zeker voor jou! 

African Extracts Rooibos Classic Care Range // Review

Hope you've had a good weekend! 2020 is the year that focus has been shifted towards sustainable, vegan, and organic brands and products. It's equally important that the product benefits yourself as well as the environment. That's why today's post is about a sustainable and vegan skincare brand that I recently discovered! 😊 I'll be doing a review of the African Extracts Rooibos Classic Care Range. If you're into skincare just as much as me get comfy with a cup of coffee or tea and let's get right to it! 

Taking good care of my skin is something I've mostly learned from my mother. She's really into skincare and trying out different kinds of products so from a young age I've realised the importance of sunscreen etc. Which I'm very thankful for. The African Extracts Rooibos skincare collection is known for its special antioxidant benefits due to the Rooibos plant that grows all the way in the Cederberg mountains in the Western Cape. Cool right?! I'm sure you've heard of the Rooibos plant sometime, because it's popular for its yummy tea.

A SHORT OVERVIEW

African Extracts send me three products from their everyday skincare range to try out: an exfoliating face scrub, a cleansing lotion, and a moisturiser/day cream. This range is suitable for all skin types and is great also for starters that would like to try out something new but something easy and quick as well that effectively cleanses your skin. I think they would be a good recommendation if you have skin problems like pimple or rashes etc because the skincare has a calming effect on your skin. 

1. Moisturizing Day Cream - SPF 15: has an SPF 15, vitamin E to protect your skin and is nice to use especially with cold weather to protect your skin against the cold and the sun. It's suitable for almost all skin types and is available for €10.49. Ingredients: organic Rooibos Extract, Chamomile flower extract, and Vitamin E. 

2. Soothing Cleansing Lotion. The lotion has a light non-greasy formula that moisturises your skin and softens it with the Chamomile flower extract. Apply a small amount on your fingertips and gently massage into your face and neck. Then rinse with lukewarm water to remove the impurities off of your face. And your face will feel as soft a baby skin. 😉 Ingredients: organic Rooibos Extract, Chamomile flower extract, and Vitamin E. €8,99

3. Exfoliating Face Scrub. The crushed Rooibos leaves and the apricot seed gently remove any dead skin cells impurities, resulting in a softer and healthier skin. The scrub great for any type of skin and you can easily use it when you take a shower and apply it on a damp skin and gently massage into your skin. It's best to not use this scrub too often; once or twice a week if enough. Ingredients: organic Rooibos Extract and apricot seed and Rooibos leaves. €8,99

WHAT DO I THINK OF IT? 

I think this is one of those brands that when you discover them you wished you knew about them much earlier. I never tried anything like this before because often I associate Rooibos with tea and wasn't sure how that would work with skincare products. But I've been surprised by how nice and soft the products felt on my skin! My skin is quite sensitive due to my rosacea, so I always have to be careful with the products I use and that the ingredients in them aren't too aggressive etc. I've now been trying out the African Extracts skincare products for about a week and I've been starting to get attached to them aha! It has become a routine to apply the moisturiser in the morning, usually after just rinsing my face with luke warm water. Often after I applied the daily cream (it's great that it has an spf 15) I often put some makeup on, like a pressed powder or a foundation. At night I use the face wash lotion to remove the makeup and clean my face, which I really like as well! The lotion smells not too strong, but a gentle and natural smell that makes your face feel like you're in a real spa almost. After that I sometimes apply the moisturiser again before going to bed, or I just leave my skin and start again with the routine the day after. The cream feels very soft on my skin and it also absorbs well into my skin and feels non greasy, which makes it a great base for any kind of makeup. The face scrub was also very nice! I applied it while taking a shower. I would recommend it if you have any blackheads or impurities, because the scrub really cleans and softens your skin, making it look more refreshed and tighter. 

What I really like about the products is that the ingredients are not bad your either your skin or your health. They're vegan, organic and sustainable which is definitely a plus for both you and the environment. I can really feel the difference when I try a product that has lots of perfume and chemical ingredients in it compared to natural ingredients. The saying that when you don't know what you miss you can't miss it is definitely true. Now that I know the difference it's tough to switch back to non-vegan and organic products. 

I would recommend this brand 100%! If you're looking for affordable, good-quality and cruelty free skincare with natural antioxidants then this skincare brand could definitely be a good option for you! :)

What Are The Benefits Of Using Vegan Hair Products? // Scandinavian Biolabs

It's only fairly recently that I started learning more about what kind of ingredients are harmful and what effects these brands have on the environment. Lots of popular brands use aggressive and damaging ingredients that are not good for either the environment or for your hair. HOW DOES IT WORK? 
I received a hair growth routine package to be able to do every step of the recommended haircare routine, which includes a shampoo, conditioner and a hair growth serum. I'm super happy with it! :) The package itself is really cute, with pictures along with some information about your hair. The ingredients are carefully chosen according to the Bio-pilixin formula and will help you to get healthier, stronger and better looking hair. It's a useful product if you are suffering from hairloss as well. The average person will see results after about 150 days of using the complete routine. So you have to be a bit patient aha! (good results are worth waiting for is what they say right;)
First you start with the shampoo. Try to not apply too much of it, a quarter size in your palm is more than enough. After that you apply the conditioner with the same amount as the shampoo. You only apply it to your hair and not your roots. (otherwise your hair will get greasy quickly) You leave it in for around 5-8 minutes, and then you rinse it out thoroughly. Lastly, you can apply the Bio-pilixin growth serum. You fill the dropper, and apply 2 pipettes onto the scalp of the hair loss area and gently massage the serum onto your scalp with your fingertips. You leave the serum in your hair for around 6-8 hours, and washing it out is not needed. The webshop mentions that you can best use the serum before going to bed.

5 REASONS WHY YOU SHOULD USE VEGAN PRODUCTS
1. Vegan products are not tested on animals, and are therefore completely cruelty free.
2. The products have no additives. Popular shampoos usually have some type of paragons, synthetic fragrances or other silicones that can damage your hair; leading to extra dry or extreme oily hair due to the chemicals that your scalp absorb into your skin.
3. Vegan products are really helpful if you have a sensitive skin. The ingredients are not as aggressive and the vegan substances reduce the risk of any allergies or skin irritations.

Tegenwoordig hoef je niet meer naar een nagelsalon om je nagels te laten verzorgen. Je kunt namelijk super eenvoudig zelf vanuit je eigen huis je nagels doen met hetzelfde resultaat! In deze blog zal ik de 8 verschillende stappen delen hoe jij uiteindelijk mooie gel nagels kunt krijgen. Ook zal ik een paar handige tips delen waar je rekening mee moet houden bij het opbrengen van de gellak. Dus vrees niet als je nog niet zo ervaren bent, want oefening baart kunst! ;)

MISTERO MILANO GELLAK 
Als je nog nooit gel nagellak hebt uitgeprobeerd vraag je je misschien af welk merk jij nou moet kiezen, want er zijn er natuurlijk zoveel dat je soms door de bomen het bos niet meer kunt zien aha! Gelukkig hoef je niet langer te zoeken; Mistero Milano is een goed en professioneel merk om jouw stijlvolle look te creëren. Mistero Milano heeft meer dan 200 verschillende soorten gel nagellak. Ook heeft het merk een grote keuze aan top coats en base coats. Het merk verkoopt alleen nagellak dat is gebaseerd op de meeste recente technologieën om jouw nagels er mooi uit te kunnen laten zien. VOORDAT JE BEGINT

Nu heb ik een simpele gekocht en die doet prima zijn werk. Het is aan jou om te kijken wat je voorkeur heeft en natuurlijk je budget. Verder is het verstandig om voordat je de nagellak aanschaft een nagelsalon te bezoeken en voor een keertje daar je nagels te laten doen, zodat je kunt kijken of je het fijn vindt. Omdat ik best wel gevoelig ben was ik in het begin even bang dat ik de gellak extra zou voelen ten opzichte van normale nagellak, maar dat valt reuze mee.

HOE WERKT GELLAK? 
Stap 1: De basis is het belangrijkste! Zorg dat je je nagels van te voren vijlt of knipt en glad maakt en mat zet een een buffervijl zodat de gellak goed kan hechten. Daarnaast staat het mooi als je je nagelriemen een klein beetje naar achteren duwt met een cuticle pusher.

Stap 2: Zorg dat je je nagels ontvet met de nail prep.

Stap 3: Kijk goed naar het jouw type nagel en breng de juiste primer aan.

Stap 4: Daarna breng je een laagje Flexi Base of Expert Base aan. Als je klaar bent kan je de base laten uitharden onder de UV lamp.

Stap 5: Kies je favourite kleur gellak en lak je nagels met een leuk kleurtje! Hard deze daarna uit onder de lamp.

Stap 6: Breng de top coat aan en hard deze uit.

Stap 7: Als je nagels nog een beetje kleverig aanvoelen dan kan je de cleaner gebruiken om dit weg te halen.

Stap 8: Als laatste stap kan je nog wat nagelriemolie aanbrengen om je nagels goed te verzorgen. En klaar ben je! :)

WAT VIND IK ERVAN? 
Ik ben super blij met de gellak van Mistero Milano!! Ik had eigenlijk nog niet eerder van het merk gehoord, dus dit was een aangename verrassing aha! De kleurtjes zijn erg mooi en makkelijk op te doen. Wat ik ook erg fijn vind is dat de gellak langer blijft zitten dan gewone nagellak. Gellak is zeker iets voor jou als je niet om de paar dagen je nagels opnieuw wil lakken. En verder heeft de site super veel mooie kleuren gellak en andere nagelproducten. Er zit altijd wel iets bij! Handig is ook dat de site verschillende blogs heeft waar je een kijkje kunt nemen om wat extra inspiratie op te doen, of om wat meer uitleg te vinden als je het nog lastig vindt.

EEN PAAR HANDIGE TIPS 

Handig is om voordat je je nagels ontvet van te voren je handen met zeep te wassen. Nog een TIP:  doe je duim apart onder de lamp zodat de lak niet kan uitlopen. De laatste TIP: de uithardingstijd kan verschillen per type lamp. Kijk daarom goed op de productpagina/beschrijving wat de uithardingstijd is.

Kiko Milano Review

And I'm back again! We're in the midst of the coronavirus outbreak, and it kind of all feels very surreal, like a horror movie.. Most countries are in lockdown right now, flights are canceled, and schools and universities are closed. But hopefully with each country taking severe measures and people taking the responsibility to stay at home as much as possible, the outbreak will soon be less and everyone can go back to their normal lives again. Stay strong everyone! For today I would love to share some things I bought from Kiko. I'll be doing a KIKO Milano make-up haul, and will show you some of my favourite products. If you love makeup just as much as me, than let's get right to it! 

I'm that girl that most often, walks out the door with just a bare face, being unapologecially herself. But, actually since the last few months I started wearing a bit more makeup. Not because I felt I needed to, but because I thought it was nice to, especially in winter when you see a bit more pale, wear a bit of lipgloss or mascara. It adds that extra sparkle and touch to yourself. Kiko has always been one of my favourite brands. If you're allergic quickly to certain types of ingredients, I would say watch out with Kiko, because, as I am quite sensitive myself, some products are quite aggressive and I can't use them unfortunately. This is the makeup look I created with Kiko eyeliner, the red lipstick, some foundation which is from another brand and that's it. I prefer a natural look, instead of a full face of makeup haha. And it's easier to get of as well ;). 

KIKO NAILPOLISH 

I'm a huge nail polish collector and lover aha! I don't know why, but it's just so fun to try out different types of nail polish shades, or combine them. I haven't really tried to do some type of nail art, but maybe I'll put it on my April bucket list. (You too?!;) What I really like is that Kiko is very affordable, and the quality of their products are quite good too. The nail polish is from good quality and lasts long, for about 5 days. They had a huge sale going on, so I took advantage of that and bought two nail polishes. I got the Kiko Mini Nail Lacquer in color 07 Candy Pink. It's a baby pink/nude color and always nice to wear all year round. The other nail polish I got is the Kiko Power Pro Nail Lacquer in color 14 Cherry. A red nail polish is definitely a must have, so I couldn't not get it.

KIKO LIPSTICK

Kiko has so many different lip products!! From lipliners, to creamy lipsticks, lipglosses, and liquid lipsticks and much more. I think my favourite kind of lip product would be a lipgloss. I like something that's a bit more sticky because my lips are always quite dry. And lipglosses usually come with glitter, cute right?! This time I wanted to go for something different, because I usually get lipglosses. I came across the Kiko Creamy Lipstick in color 117 Papaya. It's a fun bright red/orange color and thought it was cute for Spring and Summer. I love that the lipstick is creamy, reminds me a bit of the texture of a lipgloss. It stays on quite well, although after an hour you'll have to put it on again. But overall if you don't like dry lips, this lipstick is great! It's a good alternative to a lipgloss.

Get Colourful This Summer With Gellac Gel Nails!

En het is gewoon alweer juli!! Super blij, want de zomervakantie is officieel begonnen , yeahhh. Eindelijk aha! Studeren is zwaar, en na een jaar lang hard gewerkt te hebben is het zeker nodig om even helemaal niks te doen. De zomer is denk ik toch wel mijn favoriete seizoen. Langere dagen, strandwandelingen bij zonsondergang, en lekker buiten barbecuen zijn niet weg te denken. En als het weer mee zit, kan jij je bikini uit de kast halen en lekker bijbruinen op het strand! Als ik naar het strand ga vind ik het altijd leuk en verzorgd staan om mijn nagels te lakken. Het perfecte seizoen dus voor een mani en pedi. Gel nagellak is een super handige oplossing als je niet om de paar dagen nagels opnieuw wil lakken. Lees daarom gauw verder waarom gel nagellak een must is voor de zomer! 

STARTERSETS
Als het de eerste keer is dat je gel nagellak gaat gebruiken, dan zou ik je aanraden om op Pink Gellac de starterset te kopen. Je hebt verschillende sets, sommige wat uitgebreider met bijvoorbeeld meer kleuren nagellak en een luxere UV lamp. Ook kan je in de set o.a. remover en cleaner pockets vinden, een nagelvijl, primer en een nagellak naar keuze.

HANDIG OM TE WETEN 
1. Gel nagellak kan je nagelbedden aantasten, maar het tast je nagels zelf niet aan. Dit is niet om je bang te maken haha, maar het is goed om te weten dat je voorzichtig met gel nagellak om moet gaan, excessief gebruik kan schadelijk zijn. Het aantasten kan met namen gebeuren als je de nagellak eraf probeert te halen. Doe dit daarom altijd volgens de instructies.

2. Je kan de gel nagellak er makkelijk thuis afhalen. Super toch!? En wie weet als jij een pro wordt in een manicure geven met gel nagels, dat je ook nog een zakcentje kunt bijverdienen. ;) Een handige manier om de nagellak eraf te halen is bijvoorbeeld met een watje met wat aceton en dat ongeveer 10 minuten op je nagels laten zitten, zodat de nagellak zacht wordt. Hierna kan je het er makkelijk afhalen.

3. Gel nagels zijn geen nep nagels. Ik vergiste mij daar zelf in.. Acryl nagels zijn wel anders en blijven nog langer zitten omdat ze nep zijn. Het zijn zeg maar plaatjes die op je nagels worden geplakt en laten je nagels langer lijken dan ze in werkelijkheid zijn.

4. Je nagels hebben geen lucht nodig. Misschien ben je bang dat gel nagellak ervoor zorgt dat je nagels geen zuurstof meer krijgen. Het is wel waar dat de nagellak de zuurstof afsluit, maar niet heel lang.  Het is dus super veilig om gel nagellak op te doen!

5. Het is slim om je nagellak op een donkere en koele plek te bewaren. Nagellak is namelijk gevoelig voor licht. Ik heb ook gehoord dat wanneer je de led lamp gebruikt, het beter is om de nagellak potjes ver van de lamp te zetten wanneer je hem aanzet.

6. Voor een mooier resultaat kan je het beste de top en base coat aanbrengen.

WAT VIND IK ERVAN? 
Ik gebruik Gellac al een tijdje en vind het echt super handig! Ik wissel het wel gewoon nog af met normale nagellak, maar het is fijn dat deze nagellak lang blijft zitten. Op de webshop staat er dat het 14 dagen blijft goed blijft. Ik redde de 14 dagen niet, maar 12 dagen zonder het opnieuw hoeven op te doen is ook prima. Wat ik ook goed vind, is dat je bij een aankoop een code krijgt voor een online cursus met tips en hoe je het beste de nagellak op kunt brengen en eraf kunt halen. Zo heb je bijvoorbeeld bij het opbrengen de UV lamp nodig om de base en topcoat uit te harden, zodat je gellac extra goed blijft zitten. Heel fijn! Met name als je het voor de eerste keer gebruikt. En de webshop heeft ook super veel kleuren! Na het erafhalen van de nagellak bleven mijn nagels netjes en ze voelden niet extra breekbaar of beschadigd aan. Het enige nadeel is dat de nagellak er soms moeilijk af gaat, wat te verhelpen is met extra olie.

Collistar Profumo Di Benessere Body Aromatic Water Review

Collistar is one of my favorite beauty brands. The brand always has good products and I especially love their nailpolish a lot! But I need to stop buying them, I have way too many already...  Now that it's summer, we don't need that much makeup as during winter. Just some mascara and lipgloss is most of the time enough. While walking in my neighborhood, I came across this body aromatic water. It's a refreshing body oil and I think is perfect to use after a day in the sun to take care of your skin. 

The last time I body a shimmering body oil with a light self-tanning. But this time I wanted to try out a different type of body product. The beauty product is called Collistar Profumo Di Benessere aromatic water. It's from the line Benessere, all with oils and aromatic plant extracts. It sounds like something they use at a spa and when you use it definitely also feels like that. With the right products you can create a relaxing at home spa. 

The product contains pure and natural oil extracts from the ginseng and gingko biloba together with the oils that make your skin feel super soft. It hydrates and also tones your skin a little bit. When I use it it does make you feel relaxed and I love the scent! You know, sometimes you try products and the scent is way too overwhelming, but this is very refreshing and not to over the top. Both men and women can use it. The scent lasts for around a few hours. 

It's very easy to apply the body oil. You just have to spray it over your body or apply it on your temples or wrists to get the full effect. The packiging from Collistar always looks luxury and expensive. I bought it for €28,95 for 100 ml. Overall, if you're looking for a good body oil or something that refreshes and takes care of your skin, than the one from Collistar is really good! I don't really have anything bad to say about it. I'm happy I tried it and every time I come out of the shower, the next step in my routine is to use a body oil.

L'Oréal Paris Infaillible Primers

L'Oréal has always been one of my favourite makeup brands. I never really use only one specific brand, but I like to switch things up and combine and add different kinds of products to my routine. I almost always try out a new product that I've seen on Instagram or trough a friend that recommends it. I believe the future of beauty is not only using celebreties to promote a product anymore, but it's going to be more and more about what people tell each other. The audience is the most powerful tool. If you have a sensitive skin just like me, you have to be careful with what you expose your skin to by looking at the ingredients. For example, I try to not choose makeup or any beauty product that has too much alchohol in it. Alcohol can make your skin dry and on the long term it can even benefit ageing.

My makeup routine is super simple. Most days I don't even wear makeup at all. (Ssh🤫) I can walk out the door with a bare face and feel as good as when I do wear some makeup. Right now, eyeliner is still my enemy. But hey, I'm doing my best haha! So in the morning I wash my face with warm water, than end with some cold water to refresh my skin. I apply my daily moisturiser with spf and if it's really sunny I apply extra sun cream. Than I go to my primer, and that's the product I would love to tell you everything about! After applying my primer, I put on mascara and some lipgloss and I'm ready for the day. L'Oreal send me three different Infaillible primers to try out. Thank you! Many swear by a good primer and I although I never really wore a primer up until now, it's definitely true. A primer is a good base for your makeup. I tested all the three L'Oréal Paris Infaillible Primers and will show you everything about it. There is a primer for every skin type, so read further to see which primer is for you!

Don't they look cute? In total there a five different primers of the collection. All with their own strengths. The packing kind of suits the type of primer, simple but effective! The anti-redness primer is green and the illuminating one looks shiny. I tried all the primers and will show you the effect on my hand so you can see how effective it is.

The Luminizing Primer gives you an extra glowy base for your makeup. You see these shiny finishing touches everywhere lately. Especially the shiny highlighters and lipglosses which I'm super into. Immediately after you apply it you see a metallic glow. At first I thought it was a little bit over the top, but if you don't use too much it's good. To minimise the intensive glow you can also apply foundation. You can apply it on your nose, above your eyebrows or your cheekbones. Love this primer!!

The Pore Refining Primer is great if your pores are visible or large. My pores are not very visible so this primer is not really for me. Only the pores around my nose are larger. The primer is very light pink in shade and thicker than the illuminating one. It does what is promises and your pores are visible and has a matte effect as well. I did see that around my nose the pores weren't visible anymore.

The Anti Redness Primer is the last face primer I tried out. I have a skin condition called rosacea, it causes your skin to become red more quickly and dry. It's nothing serious but it's nice if there is something that covers the redness. The primer is light green and neutralises the redness on your skin. It's much more liquid than the other two primers. When you apply it you can still see the green shade. It also doesn't really do much for my skin, but it does feel soft. Also when I applied it on my face it gave the same green glow, I'm not a fan of this product. But if you do have extreme redness then it's perfect.

CONCLUSION 

I never really used primers before, but after trying out these my opinion changed. I'm definitely going to use them more often because they are a good base for my routine and your skin looks more even and neat.

Pink Nails For Summer || Gellac

Het koude winterweer is gelukkig voorbij in Nederland! Eindelijk kan de winterjas naar de zolder en kan ik plek maken voor leuke jurkjes en vrolijke tinten voor de zomer. Op dit moment ben ik op taalreis in Valencia, de stad is echt super cool! Later zal ik daar ook zeker nog een blog post over plaatsen met tips waar je het beste heen kunt gaan. Vandaag wil ik met jullie iets anders delen. Ik vind het altijd leuk om nieuwe producten uit te testen. Ik draag normaal gesproken niet heel veel makeup, misschien een beetje mascara en een lipgloss en nagellak. Nagellak is mijn favoriete makeup item. Vooral nu het warmer is, staat het altijd netjes als je je nagels goed verzorgt. Ik heb nog nooit gel nagellak uitgeprobeerd, eigenlijk alleen maar gewone nagellak. Vandaar dat ik de gel nagellak van Gellac heb getest. Lees gauw verder wat ik ervan vind!

Pink Gellac is een nagellak merk met meer dan 136 verschillende kleuren en is heel populair in Amerika. De flesjes zijn 15ml en kun je naast de starter sets ook los kopen. De nagellak blijft ongeveer 2 weken zitten, wat heel fijn is als je niet elke paar dagen je nagels opnieuw wil lakken. 

STARTERSET LED L 4 KLEUREN

De set die ik heb uitgeprobeerd is de starterset met 4 potjes nagellak. Het is heel cool dat je nu gewoon thuis je eigen nagelstudio creëert. En het bespaart ook meteen veel geld. Je kunt ervoor kiezen om de led lamp in de set te gebruiken, maar je kunt ook gewoon de nagellak laten opdrogen. Het enige verschil is dat het langer duurt. Bij de set krijg je standaard een potje roze nagellak, de andere 3 kleuren mag je zelf kiezen. De kleur die ik bij de set kreeg thuisgestuurd is dynamic pink 182. Een super leuke kleur voor de zomer!

WAT VIND IK ERVAN?

Ik ben erg enthousiast over de Gellac! Ik zou nog wel een paar flesjes nagellak erbij willen kopen. Er is heel veel keuze aan kleuren en de webshop is ook snel met leveren. De eerste keer opdoen is altijd wat lastiger, vooral met de base coat en de lamp. Maar als je het eenmaal door hebt dan is het echt eenvoudig. De nagellak bleef bij mij geen 2 weken zitten, maar rond de 11 dagen, wat ook al best lang is. Verder vind ik de kwaliteit ook heel goed van Pink Gellac. Het enige nadeel vind ik, is dat de nagellak er soms moeilijk afgaat. Maar als je het goed de stappen volgt en je nagels in olie weekt dan komt het goed! Wat ik ook goed vind van deze webshop, is dat je bij je aankoop een gratis online cursus kunt volgen. Het is namelijk altijd handig om nieuwe tips en trucks te leren! Ik heb zelf de lamp niet gebruikt, persoonlijk vind ik het fijner om het zonder te laten opdrogen.
