Nutritious Matcha Oatmeal
A warm bowl of oatmeal (porridge) is one of the best ways to
start your day with a filling breakfast. Oatmeal is wonderful when the weather
is cold, but it is just as satisfying on warm days when topped with frozen
fruit.
This simple recipe is a favourite among the health conscious.
It contains Organic Green Tea Matcha Powder. Regular oatmeal is transformed
into super oatmeal. Topping it with fresh, frozen, or dried fruit; seeds; or
nuts makes it even more nutritious.
Oats are high in fibre and quite filling. The hunger pangs and
the feelings of starvation take a longer time to occur. It is highly
recommended to cook oatmeal on the stove rather than in the microwave. Cooking
time is only four minutes. It can be prepared without feeling rushed.
Adding a pinch of salt to the oatmeal brings out the flavor.
When making breakfast for others than yourself, and unsure about their
sweetness preference, do not add a sweetener when cooking. Serve it in an
unsweetened fashion. The sweetness of oatmeal can easily be controlled by
adding honey or syrups like maple or date syrup. Dried dates are an excellent
sweetener to add to oatmeal.
Organic Green Tea Matcha Powder is made only from the highest
colour quality tea, which is a brilliant green. It has a smooth taste that is
slightly bitter. Quality organic green tea is ideal for daily consumption.
Those who are not tea drinking individuals or who wish some added benefits can
use the green tea powder in breakfast and snack recipes. The oils in the tea
are the source of its delicious aroma and flavor. Polyphenols, phytonutrients,
and enzymes contained in the tea each have different health attributes.
Matcha powder has anti-aging power from which both women and
men can reap the benefits. It aids in the prevention of heart diseases and
cancer. Matcha powder naturally boosts the system and is great when feeling
tired. Using it in oatmeal packs the breakfast with fibre, antioxidants, and
vitamins.
