Getting my ears pierced

Hey everyone,

I hope you're doing well!? This week has gone by so fast, I have a fifthy minute schedule so I leave school everyday around twelve which is very nice. It's raining the whole week and I'm really looking forward to some sun now. But since it's perfect weather to stay inside and start blogging I thought it would be a fun idea to share with you my ear piercing experience.

My first ear piercing experience

So I've been thinking about getting my ears pierced for a long time, but I never really had the courage to go and get it done. I also didn't really knew if it would look great or it looked as too much. I finally made the decision and last Saturday was the day I went to a jewelry shop in my neighbourhood with my mom. I was quite nervous and when I stood in front of the shop I didn't want anymore haha.. My mom asked if it would look good on her and I said why not. So she went and got her ears pierced. I dint look, but she was still alive... ;) Because it looked cute I wanted to go too and they women pierced my ears at the same time. But because I was so nervous my head was shaking and when I looked in the mirror, one earring was higher than the other. The women said of all the people she had pierced, I was the first person it happened too. Luckily it didn't hurt as much as I thought it would and I have already one earring. Next week I'm going to get my other ear pierced and I have my fingers crossed!

I watched a lot of videos on YouTube of people getting their ears pierced, you see very dramatic reations of people crying and screaming. That's why I was very afraid, but it's not that painful. You feel about an hour after some light pain in your ears but that's normal and goes away very quickly. Now the beginners earrings have to stay in for about six weeks and than you can choose other cute ones. I have to rotate my earrings every night so the earring doesn't get attached to my ear. Cleaning my ears with anti bacterial cream is also very important to prevent an infection. I'm already looking at other earrings online, my favorite jewelry brand right now is Pandora. So I think I'll probably my mine there. What's nice is that the jewelry pieces match with other pieces. I have a ring with a white stone from Pandora, and they sell matching earrings with the same white stones. The Italian brand Ti Sento also has nice and classic earrings.

At the end I'm very happy I did it and it's was unfortunate that only one earring was pierced well, but At least I know it's not that bad and I love the way it looks and really looking forward to choosing some cute studs. If you are still thinking about whether or not your should get your ears pierced, I recommend going to the jewelry shop and look at some earrings and place them in front of your ears so you really see how it will look. The piercing is really not that painful, you can always decide to remove your earrings anytime of course.

How was your ear piercing experience?

Have a lovely day,

The secret of staying fit and healthy

Hey everyone,

How is your day? Next week I have my test week, luckily it's only four tests and the week after only one to go. The only plus point of having a test week is that you have to stay there in the morning and than you can go home. I thought it would be a nice idea to share with you one of my secrets to stay fit and healthy, why I do pilates and why you should start too! Enjoy and get fit in 2016! Check out my other post about Cassey Hoo fitness here to stay fit.

The secret of staying fit and healthy

About a few weeks ago I wanted to try something different besides the Zumba. I started doing more flexibility exercises, yoga/pilates and just simple exercises for toning your body. Working out for me is a way to relax after a long school day and really clear your mind and think about nothing.

My weekly fitness routine
MONDAY Ballet class + at home 10 stretching routine
TUESDAY Zumba 30 minutes
WEDNESDAY 30 Minute Pilates workout
THURSDAY Zumba 30 minutes
FRIDAY Toning exercices for legs/butt/abs 15 min + 10 min stretching routine
SATURDAY Ballet class
SUNDAY Relax day

This is how my weekly schedule looks like. When I don't feel like working out or I'm too tired I try to do half the workout or just skip it for a day. Sometimes I also switch up some routines and do the workout I enjoy doing that day. Because working out has to be fun remember! It's good for your body to combine different kind of workouts. It's also what professional athletes do. Your body will be in a better shape and when you continue combing cardio and stretching/Pilates kind of workouts. This year I signed up for ballet classes and I really regret not continuing it when I was younger. It's really beautiful and maybe sometime this year the teacher said I can have pointe shoes yeah! These classes are at a ballet studio, but the other workouts I do at home in my own room. If you want to know where I find my workout routine videos, here I have some tips for you.

For Zumba I use the videos from Kim Johnson, a fitness/Zumba instructor that has a website where Zumba videos of one hour long are posted every month. They are very fun to do and really good cardio workouts. I'm sure you also know that you can type in Youtube Zumba and get videos too or type Zumba and a name of your fav song and you get your videos too. You can make your own Zumba playlist on YouTube!
the secret of staying fit and healthy #fitspiration #fitnessroutine http://isafashionebella.blogspot.com

For my toning exercises my favorite channel on youtube is Blogilates from the fitness instructor Cassey Ho. She's amazing in doing all these exercises and building her own workout calendars. So when I want to do some toning exercises I just type in her channel legs or abs and than I choose a few videos. I don't really follow the calendar, but if you want/need a real schedule and being motivated by other popsters it's really a great idea to stick to the schedule.

What is Pilates?
Pilates is very similar to Yoga but concentrates more on your core and your strength. The movements seem easy but when I tried it for the first time it didn't really look like it was the move the instructor did haha. But after a few times it gets better and better, it just takes a little time. Pilates is also great for your posture and for your flexibility. It's a good way to clear your head and become relaxed. Afterwards I always feel like I'm stronger and feel really relaxed. For my Pilates workouts besides YouTube I go to the balanced life where you can find Pilates workouts that are really good. She also has 28 days of Pilates that I still would love to do! On this website you can find al, types of Yoga and Pilates workouts from beginners to more advanced workouts. I love that the instructors are really calm and explain what you have to do well. Click here for a complete guide about the amazing health benefits yoga can offer!

I hope you enjoyed my post and found it helpful. Basically the secret to staying heathy and fit is to eat well and combine different types of exercises.

Have you ever tried Pilates

Ready for Christmas: songs, must-haves and decorations

Hey everyone,

I hope you are doing well!? It's been quite a while since I posted here, on my little corner on the Internet. I have been very busy with especially school and almost have no time to blog anymore unfortunately. But since the more than two week Christmas holiday is here, you'll see more posts from me! ;)

The period before Christmas is a time when it gets dark really early, and you can see all the Chritmas lights outside. There is a family in my town that decorates their house every November with the most bright and colorful light and decorations. The whole house is with lights, when I was younger I always asked my mom to see the house when it was dark. It's a cute Christmas memory! In my room I have a pair of ice skates that I bought many years ago. I always hang them there because I don't have any other place haha but also because it looks cute and cozy. On my bookshelf I have mr. Santa that I love a lot! And something that I never thought of before, my own little Christmas tree. It's so cute with the lights and the red Christmas balls in it. We also have a Christmas tree in the living room, but it's kind of fun to have your own. The last room decorations are the two light piramides. One on each side of my vanity and make the room cozier.

I also wanted to share my favorite outfit. It maybe isn't really for Christmas, but still nice to wear. And I wanted to share a must have black dress that I'm going to wear on New Year's Eve. Let's begin with my outfit, it's from the brand Pull and Bear. Their shop just opened a few weeks ago in Leiden so it was fun to take a look at what I normally see online and now I could see it better and feel the materials. I came across many nice things(ended up buying a little bit too much...) and this bottom up skirt in brown. I combined it with a cropped long sleeve shirt that looks very like the 90's. With a pair of brown leggings, my brown boots and my heart necklace the outfit is complete.

The must have black dress I have is without sleeves and from the brand Mango. I love this brand a lot since it has an outlet online too where everything is always half price. I found this black dress that is very simple but you can make special with accessories. For me it's really my style, I don't like very bold clothes and this is just perfect to wear.

Fall fashion: The 70's are back

Hey everyone,

It's been a while lately that I've posted on my blog fortunately. These past few weeks have been so busy. I think that the first weeks of high school (as a senior!) are always a little bit more stressful because you have to get used to a new schedule and doing homework again. But now I'm back and hope to post more regularly here!

Let's start with my post topic of today! You probably don't what to think about Autumn yet or even Winter, but the time is going so fast and it's almost the end of summer so it's the perfect time to start organizing your closet. Removing all the cute Summmer dresses(reminded me of my holiday..) and replace them for new fresh fall ready items. Before to go shopping, here are some trends that are really cute for this Fall to be inspired by, from cuffs to fur, everything is possible really.

RED DRESS CODE

The first trend is is color, a color that has many beautiful shades, lighter ones and darker ones like burgundy. It was seen on the runway many times by Guccy, Armani, Prada and many more famous designers from head to toe making a fashion statement in red.

1. Dolce & Gabbana 2. Valentino 3. Herrera From Style.com

FLUFFY
Fluffy coats, I want to have one so badly for a really long time now. This trend is warm, looks chic and like you made effort to dress up without looking too over the top. In many colors and shapes designers like Stella McCartney ruled the runway to survive a snowstorm! ;) Topshop even lined their shoes with fluff inside. They must be comfortable!

THE HIGH NECK
High necks are very fashionable this Autumn and you will see lots of them in shops. DKNY and Hermes showed it doesn't stop with just polo necks. They combined it with a high neck in combination with a fitted dress or a tailored jacket. You can do anything with this trend and make it your own creation.

BOHO'S BACK!
This summer Boho has been a huge trend, and now again but now with a lot of glam anymore. Valentino showed more prints like fringing and green colored shades. The designer Chloe made spring dresses with patchwork knits on top.

DUVET
The next trend is called duvet and looks really chic and elegant. Super quilted coats to snuggle up in and very warm jackets from Balenciaga are around the corner and waiting for you to buy them.

These were some of the trends for this Fall/winter of ss2015. I hope you are now inspired enough to go shopping for some great items to fill your wardrobe with and have a fashionable fall!

What is your favorite trend for next season? :) Have a lovely day,
