Awesome Beauty Find // Neutrogena Light Therapy Acne Mask

Hey everyone,

For a while I've been wanting to try the Neutrogena light therapy mask. It's an at home acne mask. Over the last few months my skin has gotten worse and I think it's a combination of stress and just hormones that causes the breakouts on my face. It's actually a friend of mine that recommend this product because she has really bad skin problems and uses the mask and the difference was really noticeable after a few times. Unfortunately she lives to far away to try it out, so that's why it's on top of my wishlist!

Neutrogena is a skincare brand that's very popular and the number one recommended by dermatologists. It's comparable to the Dermalogica, another skincare brand that has good products as well. From cleansers to suncare to cosmetics, Neutrogena has it all.

Let's get to know more about the beauty find now. The mask is a new and revolutionizing way to treat acne at home without having to spend hundreds of dollars for every treatment. Dermatologists have used light therapy for a really long time, and now you can do the treatment where you want. The mask protects the power of light and helps to get rid of your acne that can vary from mild to a moderate acne. At first when I read about the mask I was a little bit afraid that using it too much would damage your skin, but that's definitely not the case. The actually recommend to use the mask everyday, in combination with a cleansing product to get a healthier and clearer skin. It's a good product to add to your skincare routine. It's like you light your way to clearer skin!

Does Neutrogena work
SOURCE
On the website of Neutrogena they published a 12-week clinical study to show you if the mask really helps. I didn't expect the results to be so high. In short, the study shows that the more time people used the mask, the more their skin improved. Almost all participants had fewer breakouts and smoother skin and felt their skin was smoother. For the exact percentages and details about the study you can visit the website of Neutrogena. What's very cool about the design is that while wearing it, it's still possible to browse on your phone, or watch your favorite tv show in bed. My guess was that you have to wear the mask for about an hour a day, but it's only ten minutes. It's the perfect amount of time and fits perfectly into our already so busy lifestyles. So after you washed your face, you slip on your pink device and after watching your tv show your skin has already improved.

Some dermatologists say that it's still important to not forget about other less cool looking skincare products, like a toner or a soft cleanser. It's recommended to use an oil-free moisturizer after you've used the mask.

I can't wait to try the mask because I've heard so many good stories about it. Although I don't have really bad acne, it can still improve your skin and lessens the breakouts. The beauty product is available at almost every beauty shop online for $35. Thank you very much for reading today's post!
QUESTION TIME - Have you every tried the acne mask? Did you skin improve?

Have a lovely day,
Isabella
