Hey everyone,
Recently I discovered the English beauty brand called Burt's Bees. While I was on a shopping spree I came across a range of Burt's Bees body lotions and lip balms at my local drug store. If you ask me what product my would be my favorite, you'll probably don't get an answer because I really love everything they have. The brand has also expended it's range and now also sells skin care product and baby care products.
Today's review is about my Burt's Bees tinted lip balm in red dahlia. The tinted balms are available in 9 different shades: honeysuckle, petunia, blush orchid, pink blossom, hibiscus, caramel daisy, rose, red dahlia and sweet violet. They are all named after flowers. The balms all have a tinted formula, which adds a subtle hint of color to your lips. I like that the color is not too bright, it looks really natural. All of them are 100% natural and have shea butter and botanical waxes in them.
I wanted to choose between sweet violet, a light purple shade and the red dahlia, a more red shade. I ended up choosing the red color because I love red and didn't have a lip product in that shade. But all the shades are very nice! Lately I'm really into natural makeup so this balm was perfect for me. The balm is very easy to apply and you don't need a mirror at all. I always need something to keep my lips from getting dry, especially during winter. This balm moisturizes my lips for a pretty long time and the color stays also very long. It gives a little bit of a shiny look at first but that fades away quickly. It's creamy and feels really nice on your lips. In my opinion it's the better version of Babylips. The balm smells a little bit like granberries but not a fake smell, it smells really natural and soft.
The retail price is 7 euros and is a little bit on the higher end. In comparisons to the quality of the product I think it's well spend and a great investment. This balm is definitely one of my favorite lip products now and I still use it everyday. A balm is not only great for cold days, but I think I'll wear it in summer as well.

DeleteI've been eyeing these tinted Burt's Bees lip balms for quite some time but never got around to purchasing them! I LOVE the original formula for that nice minty feel! I was wondering if these had the same feelings.
